Dog seizures are not a thing that should be taken lightly. They can be an indication that there is a serious condition, such as cancer, present on the brain. However, for one family when their dog started seizing it was an indication of something totally bizarre - the ability to see the future.
"When it first happened we were all extremely upset", said Gary Higgins, who witnessed the first seizure with his wife and two kids. "We really thought that our beloved pet was a goner, I have never seen anything good come from dog seizures. That was until now."
The Higgins' dog immediately after seizing got up and started to act as if nothing had happened. The family continued on with their daily routine, until it happened again a few days later.
"We noticed the dog seizing on the floor again", said Sally Higgins, who witnessed the second seizure while the children were at school. "I knew we had a problem and was about to schedule a visit to the vet, until I noticed Puff Wow was acting a little strange."
It appears as if Puff Wow, the family dog, has some type of telepathic powers that allows him to see briefly into the future. The seizures are an indication that he is getting a vision from the future.
"We didn't believe it at first, but then Puff Wow went to the dog and started barking like he usually does for when people visit", said Sally. "Only no one was there, and then ten minutes later someone appeared. It was like Puff Wow saw into the future and knew to start barking for the person who was coming."
Other strange occurrences have happened after Puff Wow's seizures. A valued vase that has been in the family for years was saved due to Puff Wow's visions and he knew one of the children was going to run into it. The family was able to stop the children before the vase broke.
"This really is a rare one of a kind thing", said Dr. Glasgow, the Higgins' family vet. "I checked Puff Wow out for any signs of head trauma or something that would shed light on why this was happening, but I didn't see anything. I think the seizures are a result of the brainwaves overcharging due to the visions the dog receives. This causes him to start seizing in an effort to cope with it. It really is unique."
