Florin Interiors completes series of dining rooms for City of London financial institution

(prHWY.com) June 29, 2012 - Herts, United Kingdom -- Florin Interiors, a residential and commercial interior design company based in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire has completed the installation of silk wallcoverings and stretch fabric walling, together with co-ordinating re-upholstery of existing dining chairs in a series of dining rooms for a City of London based financial institution.

Stretch fabric walling is a luxurious finish, where silk or linen fabrics are stretched over battens and thick wadding, to create an upholstered wall finish which is a striking and luxurious finish used in residential and corporate environments. "We have a highly skilled installer who completes this work to the very highest standard and the finish is amazing', said Beverley England, Director at Florin Interiors from her Cambridgeshire office. 'For Boardrooms and dining rooms, the fabric walling can dramatically improve the acoustics in the room, absorbing noise as well as providing a dramatic backdrop to rooms which can often be plain square boxes', continued Beverley. "We have also installed silk walling to bedrooms and studies in both residential and commercial settings in Cambridge and London'.

Where drinks are food are served, the panelling above the counters was recovered with Alcantara suede, which is a practical solution as this fabric can be easily cleaned. "This is an extremely hard wearing fabric often used in car interiors and, as the colours have improved over the years, it is now popular in commercial and residential interiors when a robust upholstery fabric solution is needed' , Beverley explained.
