I believe every home stager should be aiming to hear those three words from the clients. When I hear "I love you!" I get the feeling that I've truly helped and satisfied my client's needs.
You want your home staging clients to feel special; that they're the only clients you have, that they're the only ones that matter. That is truly customer service. Working in the past in retail, the first think that they tough us is that customer service is the most important thing, that customer service is always first! So why not apply that to your home staging business.
The following 3 tips that I am going to share with you are tips that will get your client to fall in love with you and your business. I truly suggest to you to read them and put them to the test!
1) Always under promise & Over-deliver. Those who took any of the advance APSD courses will know what I mean. It is really important to under promise. When you under promise, they are not expecting more. So there for your exceeding there expectations.
2) Keeping track of your staging job's; i.e. find out the status of the properties that you have staged for agents, sellers or investors. It will tell them that your care and "super hint" it will put your name back in to mind. Just like what the saying " out of mind of min, out of sight".
3) When you follow up and are grateful. You must know by now that you should follow up with every staging job that you did. That's what will make you stand out of the staging world. A great way to follow up with a client is pointing out one favorite thing about the clients property that you Staged or send them a gift that reminds them of the home you staged. You can even take them out for coffee!
These awesome 3 tips will make your home staging clients fall in love with you! Also it will make your home staging career a very successful one in your location!
