(prHWY.com) August 1, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- The requirement to rent a golf cart is not something that any golfer would not question. Golf courses require individuals to rent golf carts in order to speed the game up and in hopes that the lush green grounds won't be trampled. A recent increase in younger individuals wishing to take up the sport leaves golf courses in a bind - that was until now.

Many golf courses were forced to either allow younger golfers to rent carts that were too big for them to operate or require that an adult be present at all times. Neither option was really working out for courses, which is what lead Rolling Golf Carts, Inc. to come up with a solution.

"We really want younger individuals to show an interest in golfing", said Thomas Wales, owner of Rolling Golf Carts, Inc. "The problem was with the golf cart requirements we were seeing younger individuals missing out on a great game. We wanted to fix that right away."

Rolling Golf Carts, Inc. developed a tiny children's size golf cart that could be used for younger individuals who wished to play the game of golf. These carts featured the same characteristics and items as a normal golf cart, but it was half the size of the normal cart.

"The smaller size makes it easier to move around", explained Wales. "They aren't forced to turn a cart that is obviously too heavy for them or out of their control. There is enough room to store their golf clubs, move around from hole to hole, and not mess up the grass or course."

Many golf courses were reluctant to invest in the purchase of these tiny golf carts. These carts, although smaller in size, cost 25% more than regular golf carts. This was often a factor that had to be considered when golf courses choose to purchase the equipment.

"We had to make a tough decision on cost vs. practicality", explained Holly Sunshine, owner of Sunrise Golf Resort. "In the end, we decided that the carts would be a good investment and it really paid off. We've had over 50% more children taking up the game of golf and it's really amazing. This is the next generation of golfers we have here and it's amazing that we are a part of it."

The small child-sized golf carts are only available in limited areas for the moment. Rolling Golf Carts, Inc. plans on making it available nationwide.
