Nominees and guests alike began the afternoon festivities enjoying the hospitality of Clerkenwell House where guests were treated to champagne, wine and a selection of beverages and snacks. The competition brief was to design an original bracelet from natural raw materials that already exist in the
Tresor Paris range. Didi Danso, Daily Mirror Fashion Editor, Lilian Lousky, Head Designer at
Tresor Paris and Rose Williams, Tutor at Holts Academy selected the winner
Then it was time to announce the winner. Rebecca Boatfield, 26, was announced as the overall winner with her innovative design, which is already in production. On collecting her prize, she said: "I'm speechless and so surprised. I didn't expect to win." Fellow students Saima Husain took third place and in second place was Aimee Crockford.
Judge Lilian Lousky said: "All the entrants did brilliantly and the level of work put in was amazing, but there can obviously be only one winner. It was a very difficult decision between Aimee's design and Rebecca's design as theirs was very similar."
