Oakville, Ontario Hockey Development Centre Set to Open this September will Customize development for all levels and abilities of

In September, Cutting Edge Hockey Development Centre will be opening its doors to local players and teams from the ages of 4 through to adult. The facility on Speers Road in Oakville, will feature a full sized rink and practice facilities to accommodate a wide range of skill development from beginner to advanced hockey skills.
Director of Hockey Programs, Jason Bergeron, says, "We develop programs to meet the needs of every hockey player. We customize programs based on competency and goals for the sport, and then deliver them in various formats from private and semi-private instruction, to small group training, summer camps, March Break Camps, PA Day camps, and Christmas Camps."
Bergeron is a graduate of the Oakville Rangers minor hockey organization, a highly accomplished player renowned for his speed and puck handling abilities. Jason received a full NCAA division 1 scholarship to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell where he was the youngest player to play in the Hockey East conference.
Office Manager and Instructor Anthony Gomes is also a graduate of the Oakville Rangers minor hockey organization and a Kinesiology graduate from Laurier University. Gomes says, "Helping players with their biomechanics and physiology and designing training programs for players is a passion for me personally." Gomes says Cutting Edge creates programs for hockey players of all ages and ability.
The organization is founded by Ron Mays, formerly of Ice2Ice and Owner of Ron Mays Goalie School. Ron has coached with several clubs including the Mississauga Ice Dogs.
"We are excited to bring our vision of world-class, professional hockey training to this part of Ontario. We will help build winners in the game of hockey and life," says Mays.
