(prHWY.com) August 10, 2012 - Napa, CA -- The Yountville School Foundation (YSF) has been selected as the recipient of the Second Quarter, 2012 Tummeling For A Cause web makeover.
Out of all the Napa County non-profits that were nominated, Tummel.Me selected three canditates for public voting. This selection was based on the non-profit accepting their nomination and Tummel.Me's ability to deliver the non-profit's desired results within the parameters of the program.
The three non-profit entities that were part of the final voting process were the Active 20-30 Club of Napa Valley, Pink Heals Napa Valley and the YSF. Voting occurred online either on the Tummel.Me Facebook page, website or via widgets installed on participating non-profit websites. In total, there were 450 unique votes cast with the YSF receiving 54.44% of the votes.
What The Yountville School Foundation Won
As the winner of this quarters program, the YSF will receive a new website that highlights the activities of the foundation, allows the posting of events, ticket sales to events, and the collection of donations. The site will also feature the history of the foundation and Yountville Elementary School.
Tummeling For A Cause Details
Tummeling For A Cause is a program meant to give deserving non-profits a new web presence. Each quarter, the community can nominate their favorite non-profit on Tummel.Me's website. With the nominees, Tummel.Me will select a short list of non-profits which will then be voted on by the community via their website or Facebook. The non-profit with the most votes wins.
