(prHWY.com) August 18, 2012 - Dunstall, United Kingdom -- United Kingdom ; 18th Aug 2012- Private Himalaya, one of the most reliable and trusted Himalayan trek operators is proud to announce that it will be organising hikes for its clients to the highest trekking peak in Nepal at 6674m- The Mera Peak. This new trekking route will take climbers on a journey of a lifetime through traditional Sherpa villages along the Arun Valley, allowing them to experience Nepalese Tea houses and camping and treating them to breathtaking views of 5 of the world's 8000m peaks.

Private Himalaya has been arranging bespoke private and group expeditions for hike to Everest base camp and other Himalayan treks since 2004. The adventure outfit has a fantastic record of successfully and safely helping their clients to enjoy trekking in the beautiful Himalayan Mountains and experiencing the local culture and nature like never before. Fully bonded with ABTA, they are one of the most trusted Himalaya tours and Himalayan trek operators in the industry.

The owner of Private Himalaya, Paul Deakin stated-"Mera Peak combines summiting the highest trekking peak in Nepal with a beautiful walk in up the relatively quiet Arun Valley. The views from the summit are genuinely breath-taking: Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam can all be seen clearly and watching the sun rise across the heads of these mountains is never to be forgotten. Climbers going on this trek to Himalayas are in for an experience of a lifetime!"

The Himalaya trekking route will take climbers south around the mountain to Paiya and Pangom avoiding the Zatwa La crossing which at 4250m nearly always causes problems with altitude sickness. From Sibuje the crew will branch north heading into pristine bamboo and rhododendron jungle before reaching the first tented camp. The trek then moves on up the Arun valley with plenty of time to acclimatize. From here climbers will start to move higher to the spectacular High camp clinging onto a rocky outcrop on the edge of the glacier. The trek also involves a short sharp scramble up an ice-wall to the summit of Mera Peak itself. This trekking route is packed full of interesting experiences for the hikers to enjoy.
