(prHWY.com) September 2, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- A Cincinnati, Ohio truck accident lawyer claims that he has some pretty unique abilities. James Jefferson, a father of two and lawyer for the past 15 years, says that after hitting his head on the kitchen sink, he can speak with and understand any animal. Mr. Jefferson goes on to say, "I was washing my floors in my kitchen one day. I had to grab some cleaning product out of the cupboard under my sink. As I reached to grab it, my daughter ran up and scared me, which caused me to jump up suddenly and hit my head. I don't remember much after this."
According to witnesses, Mr. Jefferson winded up being taken to the hospital where he was treated for a minor concussion. He woke up that same night and claims that things felt somewhat off. "When I woke up, I could hear birds chirping outside. But I didn't just hear their chirps. I could actually hear voices in my head. One of them said, 'I need to go finish building my nest.' It was the strangest thing. I wouldn't expect you to believe me."
Apparently the scenario continued as James returned back home. Barbara Jones, a neighbor of the Jeffersons, claims that James is able to talk to her dog. "I noticed that my dog Roxy was not feeling very well. I heard about what James could do and asked him to try and communicate with Roxy and ask her why she was not eating her food. James did and told me Roxy claimed that she didn't like the food. I ended up switching out her food the next day and she ate. I could not believe it. Maybe James does have something special about him."
Although James's claims do
seem a little farfetched, veterinarian Dr. Paul Johnson claims that this phenomenon is impossible. "In my 37 years of taking care of animals, I have never heard of one actual case where a person can say with proof that they can talk to animals. Maybe James can. If so, I would hope that he can prove it."
Despite these doubts, James says that his ability has begun to wear off. "Unfortunately it feels like I don't have much of a gift anymore. While I felt like I could communicate with animals in the beginning, I feel like I cannot understand them anymore. It may have just been my concussion. I hope I have not let anyone down." Mr. Jefferson plans to get an MRI done next week to make sure that he is perfectly fine.
