The outstanding reputation of WellerCLAD® among industrial processing facilities is due to its excellent abrasion characteristics, time-in-service, and weldability. Standard WellerCLAD® consists of a combination of manganese, vanadium, and
chromium carbide plate materials bonded to a high-yield strength A-36 base. The product's overlay chemistry may be altered to suit client specifications.
WellerCLAD TECH-9®, one of A.J. Weller Corp.'s newest offerings, features a tough matrix with outstanding bond strength achieved through a unique alloy transformation technology. Unlike other
hard chrome plating products, it maintains its hardness even up to 1200°F. These features make WellerCLAD TECH-9® ideal for intensely focused fine particle impingement and/or impact.
WellerCLAD RAZER® boasts a superior wear surface produced from a unique blend of molecular isothermal and isobaric processes. The product was designed for use on circumferential and flat geometric surfaces, bearings, and shafts. A.J.
