On Saturday, August 11 at 9 a.m., join Golf Cart Zone as it celebrates the opening of its new brick and mortar location at 13200 Research Blvd in Austin.
The flagship Golf Cart Zone store in Austin is an authorized E-Z-GO and Bad-Boy Buggies dealer, featuring the golf cart maker's latest models that include E-Z-GO's street legal and eco-friendly E-Z-GO 2Five. While E-Z-GO brand golf cart are great for cruising around Austin, the golf course and neighborhood, Bad Boy Buggies are perfect for heavy lifting around the ranch, camp and when hunting.
"There was a dealer need for E-Z-GO and Bad Boy Buggie product line, and we found the opening and took advantage of it," Golf Cart Zone owner Aaron Gouldie said.
Unlike Golf Cart Zone's online store, which sells golf carts and golf cart parts and accessories to people around the world, this flagship store will be an exclusive dealer of golf carts and be able to make repairs on golf carts for people all across Texas.
"This is ultimately what I wanted to do all long is have a storefront rather than be online based, because I'm more of an interaction type of person and have missed that with my online store," Gouldie said.
Gouldie has left no stone unturned in the world of golf carts, which he's been part of since he was a child. Gouldie's father, Billy, owns Kenfield Golf Cars where Aaron was able to work and learn from his father before eventually partnering up with his dad to start Golf Cart Zone.
"I have been involved in the golf cart business for over 30 years," Aaron said.
With rising gas prices and the unlimited flexibility golf carts offer, which includes street legal rides, Golf Cart Zone is sure find a long-lasting home in Austin.
