A new study conducted by the American Cancer Society and published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute reinforces the case for aspirin established by previous studies. In the new report, researchers found that overall; subjects who took aspirin on a daily basis had a 16% lower risk of dying from cancer than non-users. This procedure can prolong these patients' lives - hence the drop in cancer deaths.
