(prHWY.com) March 7, 2011 - Mumbai, India -- Shantanu Mukherjee, commonly known as Shaan recently unveiled 'Go India Go', an anthem by 94.3 Radio One, dedicated solely to the Indian passion for cricket. The singer was accompanied by Leslie Lewis, who has composed the anthem and by Swanand Kirkire, who has penned the lyrics for the same. Speaking at the event, Shaan elaborated that the anthem was brought out to match the enthusiasm and passion Indians have for cricket, especially with the ICC World Cup Cricket Championships in progress. The anthem has been created to cheer and encourage Team India, which is in great form. The anthem is the launch pad for CRICKET RAAJ, Radio One's special cricket property. Kailash Kher who has sung the song along with Shaan, was not present at the event.
Shaan, Leslie Lewis and Swanand Kirikire enjoyed themselves as they belted out the number for the audiences. While interacting with the media, the trio shared their experiences about creating and recording the song. Their enthusiasm for cricket and high hopes from the Indian team also came across as they all wished that India brings the cup home! Shaan while praising Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar pinned his special hopes on the ace cricketer.
