(prHWY.com) September 18, 2012 - Dun stall, FL -- United Kingdom, 18th September 2012 - The leading charity Kilimanjaro climb specialist - Private Kilimanjaro is now ready to help yet another group in raising money for the cause they support. This time they will be helping three individuals in gathering funds to aid the Association of Young People with M.E and the Macmillan Cancer Support.
If you are looking to climb the Kilimanjaro Mountain, the Private Kilimanjaro is the name you should bank upon. They have been organising successful Kilimanjaro hike expeditions since 2004 and are well known amongst the tourism and adventure community for their well managed and safe treks. They employ only the most experienced tour guides to help their clients complete their climb and also offer custom made hikes for those who want to get the most out of their time on the mountain.
Jane Deakin, Managing Director of Private Kilimanjaro commented "Tom, Richard & Barbara follow in the footsteps of many climbers we have helped climb Kilimanjaro raising much needed funds for worthwhile charities such as AYME and Macmillan Cancer. We have been very impressed by their efforts to raise awareness of these charities by producing their own website
http://4climbkili.co.uk/ where people can find out more or simply donate online."
The group that will be climbing Kilimanjaro for charity includes Tom Taylor, who works for SECAMB as an Emergency Medical Technician at Medway, Barbara Manktelow, who is an Emergency Medical Technician at Medway Ambulance Station in Kent and Richard Llewellyn, who will also be fighting against his own disabilities which occurred in a boarding accident in which he injured his knee. The trio is planning to raise money for the Association of Young People with M.E and the Macmillan Cancer Support with this Kilimanjaro climbing.
"Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was my crazy idea that I hit upon whilst on a standby at work." said Tom, one of the climbers. "I decided that I wanted to do something big for AYME, and you don't get much bigger than this! AYME is an important charity to me. My younger sister, Jessica was diagnosed with severe M.E over 4 ½ years ago. She has been rendered bedbound since and suffered greatly with this illness. She is very brave and has done her best to overcome every hurdle thrown at her (and there have been a lot!) AYME were there for her and my family and provided us with plenty of advice. They also work very hard to raise awareness of ME/CFS of which very little is known, and many medical professionals still dismiss its existence."
