Could Tears From Birds Be Next Facial Cleanser Craze

(prHWY.com) September 18, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- Companies like to keep the active ingredient of their facial cleanser secret. The fear of copycat versions of a company's most successful facial cleanser appearing on shelves is just too great. The main ingredient has to stay a secret, but for one company they are changing the way facial cleansing marketing is done and publicly advertising what their active ingredient is - bird tears.

"I know it sounds odd but we tell people that our product is made out of bird tears", said marketing director for Clean Drops Facial Cleanser. "People think it sounds a little odd, but when they give our free sample a try they are amazed at what it can do."

Facial cleansers are commonly used for a number of problems. Teenagers use these products in hopes of clearing the oil, dirt and make-up off their face. These things usually cause acne, which is a common problem many teenagers face. Adults tend to turn to facial cleansers in the hopes of removing fine lines and wrinkles. They hope that they can keep their skin looking youthful.

"Many companies use some type of moisturizing ingredient to create their facial cleanser", said Tammy of Clean Drops Facial Cleanser. "We use bird tears. It has this amazing cleaning quality to it and it doesn't damage the skin."

Many companies have inquired if Clean Drops Facial Cleanser really uses bird tears or if it is just a marketing campaign. Several companies have submitted formal requests inquiring how the bird tears are collected and what the real active ingredients are in the product. All of the requests have gone unanswered.

"We receive at least three to five requests a week from other companies asking us what we use in our product", said Clean Drops Facial Cleanser. "We are not legally obligated to provide that information to competitors."

Most of the competing companies believe that Clean Drops Facial Cleanser is just using bird tears as a marketing ploy to get people to purchase their product, but stylish experts for many magazines believe it could be real.

"We sent a team of scientists out to see if bird tears really could have some sort of facial cleansing quality to it", said style expert and editor of Fashion Magazine, Tammy. "The results came back as inconclusive, but our experts believe that bird tears could just be the next big thing in terms of facial cleansers. We'll just have to see."
