Tatra Plastics Singled Out By Local MP To Celeb Manufacture of The Millionth Meter of Click And Fix
Calder Valley MP Craig Whittaker marked his visit to Tatra plastics by signing the millionth meter of Click & Fix plastic planking.

The VIP MP visit was to look over Tatra Plastic's more than £125,000 investment in machinery that'll help secure future contracts and jobs.
A new high tech, top spec £125,000 extrusion machine replaces a machine that's been running almost non-stop for 25 years. The new machine incorporates latest computer technology for ease of programming and flexibility of output and it's estimated it will use around 50 per cent less energy. It also gives accurate control of shot weight, so the amount of raw material used is exactly the same with every single operation.
A £25,000 robot arm has been installed to offload, stack, palletise and box up output from the extruder.
In addition to the above Tatra Plastics have signed up to sponsor their local Elland Junior Football Club. We will become overall sponsor for the junior teams ranging from u7s-17s Juniors sides, and will provide strip and equipment for next year's under-10s Mini Soccer teams.
Club chair and under-10s manager Nigel Kaye says Tatra's sponsorship will "help us with the kit and equipment we now need to meet new FA rules on different size goals, nets and pitches for the 9v9 junior football being introduced over the next 2 years."
