(prHWY.com) September 25, 2012 - Mumabi, India -- Mumbai : LASER WORLD of PHOTONICS INDIA 2012, the three day exhibition on the photonics technolgy at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, played host to 127 exhibitors from 15 countries with pavilions from Germany, China, Japan and Lithuania and 2688 trade visitors attended the event.
The visitors came from industry sectors like automotive, telecommunications, medical, diamond as well as research institutes and others.
Norbert Bargmann, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Messe MÃ¼nchen GmbH mentioned: "We are happy that the first edition of the show was successful. We were greatly supported by Indian laser and photonics associations. The international range of exhibitors and the number of visitors was more than satisfying. Exhibitors reaffirmed that this platform is what they needed in India. Leading companies of the sector offered visitors the latest cutting-edge products, technologies and industrial applications. The show, organized by Messe MÃ¼nchen International India established itself as an enabler for the development of the photonics industry in India.

The next edition of LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai, India from 12-14 November 2013. Alongside, MMI India will also host Intersolar India and analytica Anacon India during the same period at the same venue.
