(prHWY.com) September 26, 2012 - New York, NY -- United States, 26th September 2012 - The highly publicized real estate dispute that has been attracting a horde of media attention has finally come to a satisfactory conclusion. Janice Mac Avoy and her expert team of attorneys from the ace legal firm-Fried Frank have successfully represented Princeton Holdings LLC and The Bluestone Group in their property dispute against their joint venture partner Michael Ring.

When it comes to real estate litigation, Janice Mac Avoy is considered by many as the undisputed expert in the field. A significant amount of Ms. Mac Avoy's practice includes advising clients on complex securitized debt in which the underlying assets are real estate, including the enforcement of lender's rights, acquisition and divestitures of real estate secured debt and the restructuring of real estate secured debt. She also advises clients in complex partnership and joint venture disputes.

"My team from Fried Frank was amazing in helping me deal with this case." said Janice, in a recent interview. "Our real estate partner Jonathan Mechanic, tax partner Richard Wolfe and real estate special counsel Eddie Frastai-all played their part exceptionally well in leading the case towards a successful closure. I couldn't have asked for better support than this. I would like to dedicate this win to my team, without whom I would never have been able to demonstrate that the alleged loss of trust issue was disingenuous and win the case for the client. We're very pleased with the arbitrator's position and we're hopeful it'll be confirmed."

The case received a lot of attention from the media as well as the legal community. Law360 also noted the Firm's successful representation of Princeton Holdings LLC and The Bluestone Group in the dispute. Real Deal also covered the matter in two separate articles. The dispute was regarding the acquisition of a 50% tenant-in-common interest in 14 Manhattan properties that were valued in excess of US$450 million at the time the agreement was entered into, and are currently worth significantly more. With this victory, Janice has once again made it clear to the legal world that when it comes to real estate litigation, there is simply no one better than her!
