Matthew Martino never ceases to surprise. After the successful launch of his Private Pilot's License Manual 'LETS FLY' Martino has gained widespread popularity for his natural passion in the aviation field. During an interview at
Southend Airport today Martino confirmed that there is 'more to come'. (Wonder what he has in store for us)
LETS FLY which Martino wrote and self-published first released in January 2012 is a Pilots Manual primarily aimed at aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts as the book gives insight into how the aviation world works and would give a good sound introduction into the basics of flight. The Manual gained widespread popularity in July when Martino announced it would be given out free of charge , since then the company behind its distribution have reportedly handed out 1800 copies of the book.
'Hands On'
'I am always looking for ways to better the industry, Aviation has always been at the bottom of my heart and this manual for me was the start of greater things! I have made contact with various like-minded individuals and I am now looking to take a more hands on approach in training the pilots of tomorrow'.
Martino who has always been known for his hands on approach previously ran a Business Coaching Centre in Central London last year at which he personally coached entrepreneurial hopefuls - is now very passionate about taking the same approach in his aviation ventures.
Being Different
'I always pride myself in being different; when others are sitting I pride myself in standing up. With LETS FLY I wasn't just interested in getting my training done and being just 'another pilot' I'm looking to train up a generation of pilots who will have more passion than I do. I am in the process of designing an iPhone and iPad App for aspiring pilots - I have undertaken the design of the App myself as I fancied doing something different'
Martino was quick to say he has never done anything he didn't want to although in a previous interview with Flight Global he claimed he 'hated technology' and now he has overcome that hate to design an IOS App. LETS FLY give-aways are now global , The Private Pilot License Manual can be requested through the LETS FLY Facebook page -
