Major seminar for brain injury professionals being held in Glasgow
A major seminar on brain injury is being held in Glasgow on 5th October with Digby Brown as co-sponsors.
(prHWY.com) October 15, 2012 - Edinburgh, United Kingdom -- A major seminar on brain injury is being held in Glasgow today (Friday 5th October) with Digby Brown as co-sponsors.

"The Ripple Effects of Brain Injury - Survivors, Families and their Social Worlds" is being run by the team at Graham Anderson House, a specialist rehabilitation centre in Glasgow which works with people affected by Brain Injury.  The centre is part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) network of specialist centres.

Digby Brown's Robert Swanney is among the speakers and will discuss the impact of brain injury on individuals' social and legal status.   Other speakers and presentations will focus on communication, technology and emotions, identity changes and supporting positive coping within families.

Kathleen McMonagle, Client Support Manager and Head of Digby Brown's Welfare Rights team, will also be at the event.  The Welfare Rights team work closely with our Brain Injury Department to help and support people with brain injuries in every area of their recovery.
