(prHWY.com) October 16, 2012 - New York, NY -- Pamela Chiesi, an animal rights activist living in New York City, speaks against animal cruelty especially for the working animals like carriage horses. Horses should not be used to pull carts or carriages and violate their right to be free. As an animal lover she is concerned about working conditions and threats to the health and safety of horses.

Carriage horses in New York City work 9 hours a day, 7 days a week, sometimes in bitter cold and oppressive heat. She feels the need for strict laws to protect these animals and allow them to live in freely in their own world. Animals when not working are also kept in small areas with lack of food and water. Pamela requests for a ban in use of carriage horses throughout the world.

Pamela Chiesi was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1964. She was raised the oldest of three children in an upper-middle class family and attended public schools in Massapequa, Long Island and later Binghamton, New York where she excelled scholastically and professionally. She currently lives in New York City near her brother and sister and is the proud mother of two beautiful and highly motivated daughters.
