Pamela Chiesi, an ardent animal rights activist in New York City, believes that animals have an basic value separate from any value they have to humans, and are worthy of moral consideration. They have a right to be free of oppression, confinement, use and abuse by humans. Eating any animal is morally unacceptable and is not justifiable.
She is totally against the ill treatment of humans towards animals just because they belong to different species. Even medical research should not be conducted on animals. The way humans are asked and on their consent any experiment is conducted, animals also should not be forced to go sacrifice their body in any science lab.
Pamela Chiesi runs shelters and supports various animal welfare projects. Helping another being living in this same planet earth is the responsibility of humans as superior creatures.
Pamela Mercedes Chiesi was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1964. She was raised the oldest of three children in an upper-middle class family and attended public schools in Massapequa, Long Island and later Binghamton, New York where she excelled scholastically and professionally. Pamela currently lives in New York City and is the proud mother of two beautiful and highly motivated daughters.
