This reader offers a high power mode for a long read range and a low power function for longer operating hours. It is suitable for use in harsh environments such as feedlots, auction barns and abattoirs.
The portable RFID reader, model 212009, is compliant with ISO 11784/5 standards and reads HDX and FDX-B transponders; it offers a read range of up to 40 cm (15,75") with HDX transponders and up to 32 cm (12, 5") with FDX-B transponders. The low frequency RFID reader provides built-in wireless synchronization to guarantee seamless functionality with other readers in reach. It uses an LED at the tip of the stick reader to indicate read status and also offers a built-in real-time clock. The mobile portable reader is able to store 3000 tags with time stamp and the tag data can be uploaded to a computer through its RS232 interface. Its IP67 protected housing allows accidental drops onto concrete.
