Newark Chrysler dealership announces 300 Hybrid

(prHWY.com) April 18, 2011 - Jersey City, NJ -- At this year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Chrysler revealed the newly revised Chrysler 300, which will join our selection of Newark used Chrysler models soon. Chrysler also announced an additional 300 variant that has everyone here at your local Newark Chrysler dealership excited - a Chrysler 300 Hybrid!
At the Detroit Auto Show, the Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said "We will offer a hybrid variant of the 300 equipped with an eight-speed automatic in 2013." He went on to explain that 300 Hybrid will feature the new ZF-developed eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 300 Hybrid model will be a great addition to our line-up and it will appeal to drivers looking for something more fuel-efficient. A hybrid sedan is relatively new territory for us, but it isn't our first hybrid ever and we hope it won't be our last! In the past we've released two vehicles with General Motor's two-mode hybrid transmission -- the Aspen and the Dodge Durango.

As for the new base 300 which was also at the show, it will be powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 292 horsepower. It will feature cloth seats and 17" wheels as well as amenities such as the sophisticated and dashboard-mounted UConnect Touch infotainment system.
