(prHWY.com) April 18, 2011 - Crystal Lake, IL -- Lake in the Hills Nissan dealer, M'Lady Nissan, likes Nissan's "Model Search" competition and "Model vs. Model" comparison that are part of the automaker's partnership with Sports Illustrated. Lake in the Hills Nissan Altima owners were able to participate by voting for their favorite model or viewing the "Model vs. Model" comparison videos.
Nissan's "Model Search" was a competition between models who were vying for a spot in next year's 2012 Sport Illustrated swimsuit issue. Each entrant had a both a photo shoot and a video with answers to questions posted online. Viewers voted until March 9th and the winner of the contest, Jessica Perez, was announced on March 10th. Nissan filmed a series of videos for their "Model vs. Model" comparison in which a human model in a bikini was compared to the Nissan Juke. Nissan said that the "campaign measures all key attributes of both car and lovely lady."
The key attributes used to compare the model, Amber, with the Nissan Juke were curb appeal, acceleration, aerodynamics, and agility. For curb appeal, Amber's abundant curvature was compared to the Juke's muscular curvature. For acceleration, Amber's 1.2 horsepower was considered with the Juke's 188 horsepower. For aerodynamics, Amber's 1.2 drag coefficient was related to the Juke's 0.35 drag coefficient. For agility, Amber's four flexible limbs were measured up to Juke's available torque vectoring AWD.
