Lake Worth used car dealership excited about Toyota's encouraging February sales report
Toyota Motor Sales releases optimistic 2011 February sales report with increased sales units and percentages for several Toyota vehicles compared to last year's sales report for February 2010
(prHWY.com) April 19, 2011 - West Palm Beach, FL -- Spring is on its way in most parts of the nation and the U.S. economy also seems to be slowly waking up from its long hibernation. Many U.S. companies are reporting boosts in sales and your Lake Worth used car dealership is excited that Toyota has joined those companies that have noticed increases in sales over last year's reports from the same time period.

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc., reported that 2011 February sales increased 41.8 percent over the 2010 February sales on a daily selling rate and unadjusted raw volume basis. Your local Lake Worth car dealer is happy to share that for February 2011 the Toyota division posted total sales of 128,032 units.

The Toyota Camry and the Camry Hybrid models had combined sales of 27,212 units for the month, which was a 64.4 percent increase from the same period last year. The additional Toyota passenger cars that increased in sales over last February's numbers were the Toyota Corolla and the Prius, which were up 52.2 percent and 69.9 percent, respectively.

"After two months of improving sales, we feel good about the way 2011 has started," said Bob Carter, Toyota Division group vice president and general manager, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. "We plan to keep the momentum going in March."

For Toyota's light trucks the RAV4 compact SUV led in sales units and increased 84.8 percent over February 2010. The Highlander and Highlander Hybrid models recorded combined monthly sales of 8,622 units and were up 138.5 percent from this period last year.

In addition, your Lake Worth car dealer is energized about the surge in Toyota's hybrid sales. The growth in hybrid sales is a strong indication that hybrid models are still becoming progressively popular among consumers and that Toyota's brand remains a leader in the competitive field for energy-efficient automobiles. Toyota posted sales of 15,239 hybrid cars for February 2011, which was an increase of 63.5 percent from February 2010.

At Palm Beach Toyota, we share in the enthusiasm of the optimistic Toyota February sales report and we are dedicated to our reputation as one of the top dealerships in the area for Lake Worth used cardrivers.
