Why do i like TaylorMade R11S Fairway Wood?
I'm pretty close to your description except I don't normally hit a 3 wood. I just added one a couple of years ago when I took out my 2 iron.
(prHWY.com) November 23, 2012 - Chicago, IL -- The TaylorMade R11 S Fairway Wood allows you to dial in your distance. This is achieved by adjusting the loft up or down (±1°) with Flight Control Technology (FCT) and changing the face angle (±2°) and the spin rate (up to 500 RPM±) to the desired settings. The deeper face and lower center of gravity creates an easier launch and the white crown and black face makes alignment easy and eliminates glare on top.

So far, I do like it quite a bit, more so off the tee then off the deck, it just seems to want to go fairly straight. My miss is a hook, I hit draws with this club but never the occasional sniping hook like I have had problems with some previous 3 woods. I'm pretty close to your description except I don't normally hit a 3 wood. I just added one a couple of years ago when I took out my 2 iron. I'll hit my 5 wood or 3 iron more than my 3 wood if I'm having problems finding the fairway. My question is did you hit it out of the rough (I know a 3 wood out of the rough is not a good idea but I'm an aggressive swinger and can usually hit my 5 wood out of the rough)? If so, what kind of conditions were you hitting out of (ie. light vs heavy rough, ball flight, etc.) and how was it off the deck (did you feel any influence with that ASP interacting with the ground)?

I think It's a very good product. Worth the price.Having switched from stiff to reg shafts, I realized this had been a mistake. The price from Golfsmith on these 2 fairway woods was close to what I would have paid for re-shafting my Callaway IZ's. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first about the white crown, but once again, Taylormade did it again! They got my attention with the TaylorMade R11s Fairway wood. This wood sets up well to the eye and makes you a better 3wood player. Very solid ball contact with many choices how to set up your ball flight. I had the R9 before this club.
