HawksHead Systems introduces its latest Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems for Semi Trucks, RVs and Industrial applications
(prHWY.com) November 25, 2012 - Rosedale, Canada -- This new TPMS system is based on their successful Talon 22 wheel system.
Rosedale, British Columbia -- The new system, named the Talon X-Treme, can handle up to 38 wheels measuring both pressures and temperatures real-time directly to the drivers seat.
The system is designed to handle B-Trains and multi-axle trucks and trailers. Alarms on the monitor can be set by the user allowing early warnings of pending tire issues while travelling on the highway or when stationary.
The monitor scrolls automatically through all of the wheels that have sensors applied, allowing pre-trip inspections to be more effective, saving time and money.
As many know, having tires running at the correct pressure can increase tire longevity along with considerable fuel savings which can be detrimental to a companies bottom line.
The Talon X-Treme also retains all of the Talon 22 features such as trailer drop, drop and hook for fleets, and hard wiring option etc.
As the Talon X-Treme system monitor has it's own rechargeable battery pack. The monitor can also be used as a handheld wireless tire pressure gauge when the operator does a walk around pre-inspection of the vehicle or trailer to adjust the tire pressures.
