(prHWY.com) November 26, 2012 - Sydney, Australia -- Sarah Key is an unusual animal. She is the author of several highly acclaimed popular books to help the common man manage a back problem. She is also a mentor and educator of fellow professionals through her Problem Back Masterclasses now available worldwide online through webinars.

Sarah's most popular book The Back Sufferers' Bible is the market leader in both the UK and Australia. It is just about to go into its third edition. Her first book Back in Action - which explains in simple, non-medical, non-technical language how to recognise, understand and set-to-rights many common back ailments - was first published in 1986. These and her popular 'Body in Action'/ 'Keep Your Joints Young' feature prominently on Amazon.co.uk's bestsellers lists (http://bit.ly/SarahKeyBooks).

The Prince of Wales has written the forewords to two of Sarah Key's books. The prince says: "Visualising what is happening inside the back makes it much more logical and easy to see why Sarah Key's exercises really do work. After all, I should know. As one of her guinea pigs over the years I can vouch for their effectiveness."

Sarah has recently had two academic papers published, co-authored with Professor Mike Adams of Bristol University on the possible causes non-specific low back pain which accounts for up to 90% of cases of back pain. "Back pain is rarely caused by the classic 'slipped disc', but rather a jammed spinal link, making a vertebra stiff in the spinal chain, like a sluggish piano key on a keyboard. Such problems are easily dealt with by manual mobilisation and spinal decompression exercises," says Sarah. The sequence of breakdown from this simple problem to more complex, less reversible ones - and their management - is the central theme of Sarah's Problem Back webinars (see http://www.sarahkey.com)

Recently in Sarah's journey to de-mystify back pain across the board, she has released an iPhone and iPad app called The Back App. Through 6 five-minute videos Sarah helps patients understand what is wrong and how to start dealing with a back problem themselves.
