Landscapes for local Guilinese

(prHWY.com) December 6, 2012 - Guilin, China -- For some of the foreign friends, they do not choose Guilin as their first time experience for a trip to China but every Chinese knows this city for its famous Li river,peaceful country life at Yangshuo, etc. But where are the highlights of the city here as a local man!
Mt. Yao for Climbing
Yao Mountain is a national 3A-class travel destination and one of the centerpieces in Guilin's tourist landscape. You can basically see it from anywhere in Guilin on a clear day. When it got to be good day people go there at weekend, ran up the mountain, and at the top did a couple laps. See the great thing about Yao Mountain is its way out of town, and depending on the season no one goes there, like winter, and it is the only place in Guilin during the winter where you'll see snow and ice.
After the climbing find a Farm restaurant for supper, I like the traditional hot pot of Guilin there.

Seven Star Park
The biggest park in Guilin. main sights are Flower Bridge, Putuo Mountain, Seven Stars Cave, Camel Hill, Crescent Mountain, Guihai Stele Forest and Light of China Square. But you can find a free time go there like 8PM, It's free! Great for walking, talking, dancing or dating~~

Trekking along the Li River
hiking along the Li river is the best place for trekking fans in Guilin, it is certainly one of the most worthwhile and relaxing thing, traveling by boat to Yangshuo is something that most visitors do, but it doesn't allow you to really capture the beauty and scope of the mountain scenery. Walking from Xingping to Yangshuo takes around 6 hours depending on how fast you walk, there are some truly astounding rock formations around Guilin, so make sure to bring your camera also for a shooting tour!
As a local man, you can find different trekking groups with different trekking lines on internet every weekend.

Merryland world of Guilin
Maybe we can call it the playground, where the main entertainment are facilities like the pirate ship, Many girls like there but me, because I am afraid.

Water Rafting
I know three Rafting rivers, the Yulong River, Wu Pai River, Zijiang River. Summer will be the best season for Water Rafting. Best for whom like water game!
Yulong River is the biggest branch of the Li River in YangShuo County. The clear water runs smoothly past fields, farmhouses, trees and mountains. The bamboo rafting on the Yulong Rivers, you will feel relaxed and happy in the serenity of the green mountains. Taking a bamboo raft ride is an excellent, relaxing way to take in the amazing views of the Yu Long River and watch the countryside just drift on.

Wu Pai River is famed for its water, rocks, forests and cascades. The river is so beautiful and breathtaking that it is known as "the Kettle of the Yellow River in Guilin".

Zijiang River Rafting on the river, you will find yourself in a long passage of landscape painting. There are over 60 scenic attractions along the river, among which are the Sweep Stone, the Magical Elephant Drinking Water, and A Break of the Sky

The Hot Springs in Guilin
Enjoy the leisure time in the water!
The Longshen hot springs The National Forest Park in Longsheng is a fairyland. It is known as "the heaven of peace and happiness" and "the paradise on earth" for the hot springs - the 'soul' of the park.
