(prHWY.com) December 10, 2012 - Jeffersonville, IN -- Jamey Noel takes great pride when he recounts his career as a public servant. Not only has he worked as a firefighter and state police officer, but he also continues to serve politically as well. Jamey Noel's public service work began in 1987 when he began work with Utica Township Fire & EMS.

Jamey Noel has continued his work with Utica Township and New Chapel Fire & EMS since he was promoted to the position of Chief in 1993. "I decided I wanted to continue working as Chief while I began work as an Indiana State Trooper that same year. He was the youngest Chief in the state and is one of the longest serving Fire Chief's in the county. Today, I continue to work as both Chief of the Utica Township and New Chapel Fire & EMS and as First Sergeant and Assistant District Commander Indiana State Police," says Jamey Noel.

Jamey Noel has received several promotions as a state police officer. He started out as a State Trooper but earned the later title of First Sergeant in August 2011. "Perhaps the greatest moment of my career was saving a UPS driver from a frozen pond in 2004," says Jamey Noel. The act resulted in his earning two awards: the Indiana State Police Life Saving Award and the Governors Award for Valor.

On top of his professional career as a first responder and First Sergeant with the Indiana State Police service, Jamey Noel also works to serve his community politically as well. He first began political public service when he became a member of the Indiana Republican Party State Committee and Chairman of the Indiana Republican Party 9th Congressional District in 2011. He continues to serve both positions today. He added onto his political work in 2009 when he took the position of Chairman of the Clark County Republican Party. "Being politically active is one of the aspects that make American politics so great. I'm proud to serve my community by serving the Republican Party here in Indiana," says Jamey Noel.
