Leigh Sprague Celebrates Educational Achievements of Past

(prHWY.com) December 11, 2012 - Fort Atkinson, WI -- Leigh Sprague is proud to announce that now, in the twelfth year of his professional career, he is taking some time to look back and celebrate the educational achievements of his past. Sprague's achievements first began as a young undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Leigh Sprague earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he graduated with honors. Sprague appeared on the Dean's List, was formally recognized with distinction in his major, was a Joe Davies Scholarship recipient, and the proud recipient of a Hilldale Fellowship.

"Those were certainly four important years for me," says Leigh Sprague. "I didn't let a single second go to waste. If I wasn't pursuing achievements in the classroom, I was working on something that would build my resume into what it is today."

Leigh Sprague was also a Junior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. and in Moscow, Russia. "That was one of my early international experiences. Clearly, it inspired me to spend many more years in Russia and other developing countries. Living and working in Russia and other foreign countries has been a great joy in my life."

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Leigh Sprague enrolled at Columbia Law School in New York. He graduated - with honors - earning his Juris Doctor (JD) degree. During this time, Leigh Sprague published several academic and scholarly articles.

"At that time in my life, I felt like I hardly got out of the library. Not only was I authoring my own work. But, I was also the Editor-in-Chief for the law school's Parker School Journal of East European Law."

Leigh Sprague graduated with honors from Columbia Law School as a Kent Scholar, Stone Scholar, and Tony PatiÃ±o Fellow. He also received the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in Foreign and Comparative Law, and received an Advanced Studies Certificate from Columbia University School of International Public Affairs.
