* Turmeric soars close to 2% on account of tight supply in the markets.
* Cardamom consolidates with sideways movement closing almost flat.
Jeera ended with minimal loss making it its fifth consecutive trading session of negative close on good sowing pace in Gujarat. Turmeric witnessed a rise of close to 2% due to estimates of drop in production as a result of adverse weather conditions. Chana shows slight recovery ending with moderate gains after the sharp fall of last trading session.
