One of Best San Diego Golf Clubs Features First-Rate Clubhouse Dining
Rancho Santa Fe, California (January 17, 2013) - The Farms, one of the most prestigious golf clubs in San Diego, prides itself not just for its highly challenging course but also for its exceptional menu pre

The Farms is the only exclusively-for-golf san diego country club, as it does not have swimming pools, tennis courts, and spas. Built in 1988, the club was originally designed by Pete, Perry, and Alice Dye with assistance from golfing great Tommy Jacobs.
After The Farms was purchased by its members in 1999, the course was remodeled in 2000 under the guidance of architect John Fought and his associate, PGA Tour professional Tom Lehman. They sought to improve the layouts of the fairways and greens, which turned out to be both challenging and fair to players of all skill levels.
"The Farms is one of the most demanding courses off the tee in Southern California," PGA Tour champion Phil Mickelson once told the Southern California Golf Association. "When I'm preparing for a major tournament, and really want to test my driver, I come to The Farms."
